Understanding the Orders screen and functionality

Learn how to view, sort, and understand the information on the RETAIN Orders screen

This guide will walk you through the functionality of the Orders screen. 

METRICS OVERVIEW

  • New Orders: The number of new orders placed in the current month. Displayed next to the number will show an increase or decrease arrow and number in comparison to the month prior. 
  • Subscription Orders: The number of subscription orders placed in the current month. Displayed next to the number will show an increase or decrease arrow and number in comparison to the month prior. 
  • On Demand Orders: The number of on demand orders placed in the current month. Displayed next to the number will show an increase or decrease arrow and number in comparison to the month prior. 
  • Refunded Orders: The number of orders that were refunded in the current month. Displayed next to the number will show an increase or decrease arrow and number in comparison to the month prior.

EXPORT ORDERS LIST TO .CSV

Click on the 'Export Orders' hyperlink to download a .CSV file that contains the data associated with your orders. Screen Shot 2024-09-19 at 11.43.15 AM

HOW TO USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION

If you are searching for an order, you can type the patient's name in the search bar and click search. You can only search by patient name. 

FILTER ORDERS BY STATUS AND UNDERSTAND DEFINITIONS

All the RETAIN orders associated with your account and practice will be populated in the order list. By default, the status labeled 'All' will be selected. You can filter by the statuses listed below.

  • All: All the orders that have been placed 
  • Placed: The order has been placed and sent to the lab
  • Confirmed:  The lab received the order
  • Processing: The order is being processed and the retainers are in production
  • Shipped: The retainer(s) has shipped from the lab
  • Completed:  The order is complete and has been received by the patient/practice
  • Cancelled: The placed order has been cancelled and will no longer be scheduled for production

HOW TO SORT BY DATA IN COLUMNS

The order list is separated by columns and the columns can be sorted in chronological, numerical, or alphabetic order by clicking on the up and down icons next to the column heading. You can also use the sorting tool to group patients with the same statuses and retainer type together.

ROWS PER PAGE

You have the ability to change the amount of rows (patients) per page. The options are 10, 15, 25, 50, 100. This can be changed by selecting from the dropdown menu at the bottom of the list.
