      How to set or change your first retainer(s) offer

      Learn how to set or update your first retainer offer to your patients.

      Within RETAIN, we allow for the option of offering patients their first retainer(s) at no cost to them. If you elect to provide your patients with this offer, the practice will be responsible for the retainer costs and the card on file will be charged. If you elect to not provide this offer, the patients will be responsible and charged for their first retainer. 

      UPDATE FIRST RETAINER OFFER

      1. Navigate to Account Settings on left side menu
      2. Scroll to Payment section
      3. Select 'Yes' or 'No' from the dropdown menu underneath the verbiage that reads 'Will you regularly be offering the first retainer(s) at no cost to the patients?

      4. Click Save located at the bottom of the Account Settings screen

      NOTE: The first retainers will be shipped to the address of the payer. Ex: If the practice is paying for the first retainer, it will be shipped to the practice.
