How to add a patient

Learn how to add a patient to your RETAIN account.

To utilize RETAIN's services, patients must be added by a participating practice. You can add a patient from your Dashboard or from the Patients screen. 

ADDING A PATIENT 

1. Navigate to the Dashboard or Patients screen
2. Click the 'Add New Patient' button located in the top right corner
   
   
3. Enter Patient Information 
   1. First Name 
   2. Last Name
   3. Date of Birth (mm/dd/yyyy)
   4. Shipping Address

  4.   Enter Retainer Information

Rx Recommendation section

1. 1. Select option for Arches Included
   2. Select option under Digitally Remove Bonded Retainer 
   3. Select option under Digitally Remove Braces or Attachments
   4. Select option under Digitally Add Bite Turbos (upper arch only)

Additional Notes section 

1. 1. Input comments or notes 
   2. Select frequency

Scan Details section 

1. 1. Upload STL file(s) for each arch

1. 1. Enter email address for account owner
   2. Select role

1. 1. Select who is paying for the first retainer (patient or practice)
   2. Select where the first retainer should be shipped (patient's address or practice's address)

7.  Review the information on the confirmation screen

1. 1. Click Confirm if everything looks accurate
